Caregiver/CNA Job at Village Caregiving - Southern WV in Williamson

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team! Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Assist clients with prescribed medication and ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Assist patients with their meals, including serving and related tasks, to support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Supportive, compassionate, and committed to high-quality care.
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client).
