Job Description:

We are looking for highly skilled Armed Security Drivers to join our Los Angeles team. This role involves providing armed security and transportation services to high-profile clients, ensuring their safety and security during transit. As an Armed Security Driver, you will need to demonstrate exceptional situational awareness, rapid decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. This position demands strict adherence to safety protocols while ensuring the client’s comfort and security throughout the journey.

Shift Information:

Schedules for Armed Security Drivers will depend on client needs and may include:

• Day Shifts: Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours, typically during standard business hours.
• Evening & Night Shifts: Security details may require late-hour coverage.
• Overnight Shifts: Extended or 24-hour assignments could involve overnight security driving.
• On-Call/Reserve: You may need to be on-call for urgent or last-minute assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Armed Security Drivers are responsible for:

• Safely transporting high-profile clients while maintaining a visible, professional, and armed security presence.
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and security measures are in place.
• Monitoring surroundings for potential security threats during transit and responding promptly to any incidents.
• Following designated travel routes and maintaining security protocols while ensuring client confidentiality and discretion.
• Maintaining clear communication with clients, the security team, and operational support staff.
• Writing detailed post-transport security reports when required.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Armed Security Driver position, you must have:

• 5+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or armed security.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong physical fitness and expertise in defensive driving techniques.
• Excellent situational awareness, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with high-profile clients discreetly.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in defensive driving and vehicle security protocols.
