Job Description:

We are seeking highly trained Armed Security Drivers to join our San Jose team. This role involves providing armed security and secure transportation for high-profile clients, ensuring their safety and protection at all times. As an Armed Security Driver, you must possess exceptional situational awareness, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure environments effectively. You will be expected to adhere to stringent safety protocols and react quickly to any security threats while ensuring the client’s safe transportation.

Shift Information:

Schedules for Armed Security Drivers will depend on client needs and may include:

• Day Shifts: Ranging from 8 to 12 hours, typically during regular business hours.
• Evening & Night Shifts: Extended coverage may be required into late hours.
• Overnight Shifts: Some assignments may necessitate overnight security driving.
• On-Call/Reserve: You may be required to be available for urgent or last-minute assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Armed Security Driver, you will be expected to:

• Safely and securely transport high-profile clients to and from designated locations.
• Maintain a professional and visible armed security presence during client transport.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Monitor surroundings for potential security threats during transit and respond accordingly.
• React quickly and effectively to any security incidents, ensuring the safety of the client.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, security team members, and operations support.
• Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
• Provide detailed post-transport security reports as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and legal regulations related to firearms and defensive driving.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Armed Security Driver role, candidates must possess:

• 5+ years of military, law enforcement, or armed security experience.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong physical fitness to perform defensive driving and security duties.
• Excellent situational awareness and the ability to make rapid decisions in high-pressure environments.
• Advanced defensive driving skills, including the ability to navigate high-risk situations.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling high-profile clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
