SECURITY OFFICER - Community Health Center

Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). We are committed to caring for our patients with purpose and integrity and providing our team members with the support they need. We are looking for a service-oriented full-time Security Officer to join our growing team.

The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the facility and premises at 257 Biltmore Avenue.

We are seeking a full-time Security Officer to work 9:30 am to 6 pm.

MJHC is only open during the day, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.

Therefore, Security Officers are not required to to work evenings, nights, weekends or WNCCHS observed holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Assist emergency responders
  • Patrol facility and premises
  • Participate in organization-wide safety activities, i.e., fire drills, workplace violence prevention, etc.

Skills/Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience preferred
  • Current and unrestricted license to drive passenger vehicles in North Carolina
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to complete daily activity reports.
