Allegra + Kauboi + Lobby Bar at The REMI Hotel is currently looking for Security Leads to join our team!
We are seeking candidates who can:
- Support the Security Supervisor in managing the security staff by assigning shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring all team members perform their duties effectively. May also train security personnel in our hospitable culture, policies, safety protocols, and de-escalation techniques.
- Oversee all outlets, including entry points, exits, and high-risk areas such as the bar top, tables, and pool. Remain vigilant to identify potential issues like overcrowding, suspicious behavior, or safety hazards.
- Address disturbances such as fights, intoxicated patrons, or emergencies by assessing the situation, de-escalating conflicts when possible, and taking appropriate actions. This includes removing unruly individuals, contacting law enforcement, and documenting incidents for review.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as dress codes, age restrictions, and acceptable conduct. Check IDs to prevent underage drinking and monitor alcohol consumption to avoid over-serving.
- Collaborate with leadership, service staff, and bartenders to ensure smooth operations. Communicate about large groups, special events, or security risks, and coordinate with local authorities or emergency services when necessary.
- Manage the flow of patrons entering and leaving, ensuring safety for guests and staff. During busy times, manage queues to maintain order.
- In emergencies like fires, medical incidents, or security threats, direct evacuations or lockdowns to ensure safety. Ensure emergency exits are accessible and staff are trained in protocols.
- Prepare reports after incidents or shifts, detailing issues, actions taken, and recommendations for improvement. Share these with leadership to enhance security measures.
- Maintain radios, stanchions, and other equipment in good repair.
- Interact professionally and hospitably with guests, focusing on security while providing excellent customer service.
