Responsibilities

What you'll do :

  • Conduct initial investigations and appropriate follow-up for security incidents, documenting all findings in a security 360 report.
  • Perform proactive foot and vehicle patrols of the entire campus, including all floors and buildings.
  • Respond to radio calls for various services, such as escorts, property pick-up, disturbances, standbys, and code calls.
  • Stay current on all required training, including CPI, PPCT, and necessary computer courses. Receive mandatory annual flu shots.
  • View camera footage and save recordings as needed.
  • Operate the C-cure system to grant clearances and lock/unlock doors.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members, visitors, and patients, adhering to the department dress code.
  • De-escalate and control security situations effectively.

Additional Information

CHI Health Security services all Omaha Metro area campuses and properties. Security staff may be required to work at multiple locations based on company needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications :

  • BLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Some college education preferred
  • Experience in security, military, or law enforcement
  • First aid certification
