Responsibilities

• Perform customer service and safety screening duties through professional and positive interaction with the public, patients, employees, and administrators.
• Screen persons entering the facility using the weapons detection system and facilitate the proper disposition of any found weapons.
• Validate people’s business at the facility and may issue visitor passes utilizing the visitor management system, in conjunction with the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of applicable local, state, federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
• Operate within the department’s chain of command, exercising initiative, judgment, and general competence in day-to-day duties.
• Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all.

• Serve as the initial greeter to all patients, visitors, and employees entering the facility.
• Utilize customer service skills to respectfully engage with all community members.
• Create and issue visitor badges for individuals entering the facility.
• Screen persons entering the facility in accordance with organizational protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
