The company is Class A Licensed and SWAM certified, recognized for quality historic preservation and residential construction work. Karnage Construction is dedicated to growing an in-house workforce with living wages, in-house training, and continuing education. We have extensive experience working with local inspectors, the Richmond Citywide Architectural Review Board, and the State Department of Historic Resources on various projects. Additionally, our company assists homeowners in managing the complexities of owning historic properties and collaborates as a subcontractor on larger projects throughout Virginia.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Administrator, located in Richmond, VA. The Office Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks including managing office equipment, providing administrative assistance, facilitating communication within the team, and offering excellent customer service. The role will also involve general office administration duties to ensure smooth operation of the office. Mostly office type work but some physical engagement required.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration
  • Proficient in using Office Equipment
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience in the construction or historic preservation industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in office software such as MS Office, Google Workspace
  • Business Administration, Management, or office experience
