Overview

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Night Operations Manager in Charlottesville, VA. The Night Operations Manager will be directly responsible for leading commercial cleaning operations and ensuring that service commitments to on-site clients are fully met. This position oversees scheduling, training, performance management of staff, cleanliness of the facility, and achieving maximum service and quality standards as met by all operational expectations assigned by the Site Manager and District Manager.

Organizational Relationship

The Night Operations Manager will report to the Site Manager and District Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Post Event Shift (Night Shift after events), budgets, and team personnel.
  • Organize, plan, schedule, and execute cleaning operations for Post Event Shift.
  • Review service delivery and staffing reports to ensure identification of service and/or contract issues.
  • Understand all customer contract commitments and schedule services accordingly as assigned by the Site Manager.
  • Allocate resources appropriately, maintaining inventories of equipment and supplies. Ensure all supplies, equipment, and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
  • Conduct walk-through inspections throughout the length of the shift to ensure work is completed properly and within budgeted hours.
  • Complete labor reports to ensure all post-event labor is accounted for and sign in and out temporary labor to ensure completion of time sheets.
  • On non-event days the work schedule will be morning shift (Core), as manager/supervisor/lead or working lead as directed per the Site Manager.
  • Night shift responsibilities include HR concerns, including hiring, interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll, labor reports, inspection reports, safety reports, etc.
  • Inspect arena seating and all suite areas to determine the employee deployment strategy.
  • Address client concerns.
  • Conduct pre-event/post-event inspections of the facility.
  • Review Event Work Sheets to coordinate staffing requirements and prepare event staff schedules for the following week.
  • Assign radios, keys, and equipment and complete sign in/out sheet.
  • Report all accidents, injuries, incidents, maintenance, and safety concerns immediately.
  • Be informed about work assignments and know locations of entrances, exits, restrooms, telephones, concession areas, security, first aid, guest services, ticket offices, etc.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by the Site Manager and/or District Manager.
