Night Auditor/Security role at Windsor Hospitality. This position combines the duties of a Night Auditor and a Security Officer to ensure accurate financial balancing and reporting while maintaining the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property.

This position is located at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA. Arcadia is a city nestled by the San Gabriel Mountains, known for its suburban charm and natural beauty, and is home to attractions such as the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and the Santa Anita racetrack.

What you will do
- Perform all audit procedures and prepare required audit reports as set forth by the hotel and company daily.
- Balance all cash receipts, reconcile daily revenue, and make deposits of cash.
- Prepare the front office for morning operations and reset the day’s business.
- Act as Guest Services Agent and Manager on Duty during nighttime hours.
- Handle wake-up call requests, PBX operations, and other front desk functions as needed.
- Attend and participate in front office meetings and training sessions.
- Support and adhere to company values, mission statement, service standards, and guest service philosophy.
Security Duties
- Ensure guest and property security by monitoring the lobby, office areas, hallways, stairways, public restrooms, parking lots, guest rooms, and other assigned areas.
- Count all vehicles.
- Scan location QR Codes during patrols, etc.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and maintain accurate entries in the security log.
- Escort guests and employees to vehicles when requested.
- Report and document incidents, including disturbances, injuries, or emergencies, contacting police authorities when necessary.
- Assist guests with directions, complaints, or requests for assistance, offering proactive help when guests appear in difficult situations.
- Maintain awareness of property activity, including bar areas and exterior spaces, addressing disturbances or unruly behavior.
- Deliver guest requests and address cleanup during patrols, ensuring clean corridors.
- Provide assistance to staff with unruly or intoxicated guests when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security and hotel reports/documents.
- Maintain knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.

- Strong mathematical skills for balancing financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency with computers, property management systems, and related equipment.
- Ability to speak and write clearly to report both financial and security-related information.
- Ability to remain calm, use sound judgment, and react quickly in emergencies.
- Strong guest service skills with tact, courtesy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes, interruptions, and multiple priorities.
- Ability to monitor and respond to both security and financial operational needs during overnight hours.
Physical Demands
- Requires walking, standing, and patrolling the property for extended periods.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Requires use of hands and fingers for operating computer keyboards, telephones, and security equipment.
Environmental Conditions
- Work may involve both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Subject to weather conditions, dust, and pollen during security rounds.

Schedule & Hours
This position is Full-Time with a rotating schedule (Monday-Sunday). Ability to work evening/night shifts and holidays based on business needs is required.
