Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The Freezer Warehouse Trainee position is a full-time, entry-level role. Trainees will learn warehousing operations through formal training and on-the-job experience. They will also learn to operate material handling equipment such as mid-rider pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Select customer orders using electronic technology and physical product handling.
• Load and unload products from transportation equipment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Repetitively lift and stack products.
• Work until the job is complete.
• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, Sunday - Friday, with 1 day midweek and Saturdays off.
• Shift end times vary; shifts may last 10-12 hours, ending when work is completed.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug screening and physical exam.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in all temperature zones, including Freezer.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work +10-12 hour shifts.
• Ability to learn electronic technology use.
• Normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legs; ability to lift/repeat lift 30-60 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and operate lift devices.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment like electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and sounds.
• Ability to read numbers and product descriptions.
