Job Description
Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick-up. Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages repeat online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Initiate and complete the selection process for online orders.
- Assemble orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into customers' cars.
- Scan and bag orders following all standards.
- Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
- Meet/exceed customer expectations regarding shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Follow all relevant laws, food safety procedures, and company policies.
- Store products in optimal temperature zones and ensure order accuracy.
- Follow directions in notes and ensure quality of all items.
- Communicate professionally with customers via portable phones.
- Retrieve, verify, and load customer orders into cars.
- Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
- Process orders through the POS system.
- Handle out-of-stock substitutions appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas.
- Report discrepancies and equipment issues.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Meet productivity standards and work cooperatively in high-paced environments.
- Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to read shelf tags.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Previous Experience:
- Experience as a personal shopper, in warehousing, stocking, or cashier roles.
