Designed for individuals new to or considering Scrambling.
Perhaps you have been hiking for a while and want to take hiking to the next level. Maybe you're thinking about basic climbing but you're not sure you're quite ready for the commitment. Perhaps you have no idea what scrambling is and want to learn more.
Come attend this virtual information session where we will answer questions such as:
- What is scrambling?
- What is the scrambling course?
- What gear do you need?
- What is the difference between rock and snow (and winter) scrambling?
- Where are some scrambling destinations?
- What kind of skills will I learn?
- What physical shape should I be in?
We'll have plenty of time to answer your questions too.
Meeting place and time:
7-8pm online. A Zoom link will be sent to signed up participants by 5pm on 11/20/24.
