Overview

Be among the first 25 applicants. Select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping. Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper: select and gather products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' on-line orders; assemble orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders on the go while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up; meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive orders from Order Selector, store products in optimal temperature zones, and ensure order accuracy during retrieval and loading.
• Provide positive customer service that encourages repeat on-line shopping; process orders through the POS system; follow substitution policies for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment; report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor; inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures; assist in training new e-Commerce team members; meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment; manage conflict professionally; follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults; able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience:

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or as a cashier
