Overview

A position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to conduct cognitive evaluations on a per diem basis within a K-12 educational setting. This contract role spans the school year, from August through May, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, including those ages 3 to 21.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive cognitive evaluations for students to support educational planning and intervention strategies.
• Collaborating with educational staff to interpret assessment results and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Providing timely and accurate documentation of assessments in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Offering insights into students cognitive functioning to guide instructional approaches and support services.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in administering and interpreting cognitive assessments for a PreK-12 student population.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, families, and educators.
• Ability to manage multiple evaluations efficiently during the school year calendar.
