RN - Post-Partum / OB $2,133.40 Gross per Week Starr Regional Medical Center 1114 West Madison Avenue Athens, TN 37303 **Orientation is Bi-weekly, on Mondays - Local Rate: ;Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel** All Travelers must have REQUIRED certifications prior to start. • Patient Ratios: 1:5+
• EHR: MedHost, Centricity Perinatal • Supervisor: Jan Weatherspoon, Director of Women Services • Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc.: Serves all ages - Women services. Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: Assessing post-partum maternal health, assisting with breastfeeding, Monitor vital signs and watch for signs of complications, managing postpartum complications, administering medications, and teaching new parents essential newborn and maternal care for a safe transition home. Assist with pain management and healing after Normal delivery or C-section, Conduct physical and psychosocial assessments of the mother. Provide emotional support and address psychosocial needs. Post-Partum Experience required.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience in Couplet Care desired.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Bowel obstruction; hip fracture; Cholelithiasis; Appendicitis; Post Partum care.
• Personality Fit: Professional, team player. • Required Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee. Dress Code: • Scrub Color: Any.
