Key Responsibilities (Senior Accountant): Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and journal entries
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger
Analyze financial data and trends to support business planning
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
Coordinate and support internal and external audits
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters
Qualifications (Senior Accountant): Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Effective communication and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred or required depending on employer)
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with financial reporting and audits
