Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Perform variance analysis and investigate fluctuations in key accounts
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and assist in external audit preparation
Collaborate with business units and provide financial insight for operational decision-making
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and support systems enhancements
Mentor junior accountants and assist with technical accounting guidance
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Advanced Excel skills; experience with large ERP systems
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage deadlines and work cross-functionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
