Key Responsibilities
Lead core elements of the
month-end close , including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze
financial statements
in compliance with GAAP and internal standards
Partner with finance and operations teams to support
budgeting, forecasting , and
variance analysis
Support
internal and external audit
processes and ensure compliance with internal controls
Identify and implement
process improvements
and contribute to
automation projects
Provide
mentorship and support
to junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience (experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution is a plus)
Strong knowledge of
GAAP , financial reporting, and internal controls
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(pivot tables, lookups)
Experience with ERP systems such as
NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
