$90,000 - $115,000 We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Accounting Manager to join our client's CPA firm. Overview of the Accounting Manager role: Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple clients, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Oversee client onboarding, set up efficient processes, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, providing proactive guidance and strategic advice.
Review and troubleshoot QuickBooks files to ensure accurate data and compliance.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff and bookkeepers.
Collaborate with tax team to ensure timely and accurate year-end tax preparation.
Identify process improvements and assist clients in implementing best practices.
Stay up to date on accounting standards and regulations relevant to client industries.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or client accounting services environment.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop required.
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting processes.
Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize deadlines.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Experience working with small to mid-sized business clients across different industries.
