White Plains, NY - hybrid schedule About the company: A leading U.S.-based distributor specializing in branded fast-moving consumer goods, including food, beverages, and non-food items. Offers a wide range of products-from American snacks and drinks to imported Asian and European goods-serving retailers, restaurants, and grocery stores nationwide. Responsibilities: Develop/maintain a deep understanding of our current categories and lines of product to continuously lead the Business in optimizing our existing product mix and capitalize on new product opportunities promptly that maximize business growth. Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of related product offerings and new product news to quickly match or beat competitive offerings. Research and understand other related OTC categories and make strategic recommendations that could profitably grow the client's business. Collaborate with Marketing colleagues, Sales, and other cross-functional team members to identify white space and ideate new product ideas. Manage market intelligence to identify and filter potential new products. Write New Item Briefs, create and manage project timelines to ensure delivery and deadlines are Partner with Project Management to communicate with Vendors to help develop the best product mix, manage formula functional performance/sensory profiles, and optimize profitability. Create and maintain detailed spec sheets for each SKU in Collaborate with Project Management and Regulatory to map out/improve timelines, optimize formulations, and Assist Sales with NPD sell-in, including Sell Sheets, marketing collateral, on-going customer requests, timeline coordination, volume estimates, and pricing. Support on-going RFP's. Work closely with our internal Art department to issue preliminary product copy, mockup requests, and design Manage project status updates on the Master New Product Development Organize & maintain available competitive product Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field. 3-5+ years of relevant experience in NPD, consumer marketing, or project management. Experience out of a CPG company is highly preferred.
