Property Accountant

Salary: 75-85K

Key Responsibilities

Oversee

full-cycle accounting

for a portfolio of properties.

Manage the

month-end close process , including preparing and analyzing financial statements.

Handle

accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

for multiple properties.

Perform

monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations .

Ensure accurate

CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations

and expense allocations.

Assist with

budgeting and forecasting

for property operations.

Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred .

3+ years of experience

in

property accounting or real estate accounting .

Proficiency in

Yardi or similar property management accounting software .

Strong understanding of

multi-entity accounting

and

CAM reconciliations .

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
