Senior Accountant . Conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, however the
Senior Accountant
will function on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant: Prepare journal entries and cost allocation schedules for program expenses Assist in the month-end close process and distribution of financial statements Assist with responding to audit information requests and prepare necessary schedules for external audits Minimum Qualifications for Senior Accountant: Bachelors' degree in Accounting Non-profit experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards for financial reporting Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
