Key Responsibilities
Oversee pharmacy revenue workflows from charge capture through reimbursement
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), perform audits, and identify revenue leakage risks
Partner with finance, operations, and pharmacy teams to streamline workflows and improve accuracy
Manage and maintain the Pharmacy Charge Description Master (CDM) for compliance
Train staff on proper documentation, billing, and compliance practices
Prepare and present reports on revenue performance, compliance trends, and audit findings to leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including 2+ years in pharmacy revenue integrity, compliance, or related field
Strong knowledge of pharmacy billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
Experience with Epic, Cerner, or similar revenue cycle platforms
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements (CMS, HIPAA, payer compliance)
