Controller
to join their leadership team. This individual will oversee the full accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting while also serving as a key partner to operations and leadership. OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE: Oversee all aspects of accounting, including
job costing, accruals, deferred revenue, payroll, and general ledger management . Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Partner with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights on jobs, profitability, and performance. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTROLLER: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 5-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in
construction, contracting, or project-based industries
strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of
