Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a forklift operator position with a company in Erie, PA. This is a 1st shift position with a pay rate of $16/hour.

Shift: 1 st 7am -3:30pm Monday through Friday. Plus overtime and some Saturdays

Pay Rate: $16-17/hour

Position Summary

• The Team Member utilizes a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product.
• The Team Member utilizes the forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Accountable for the safe operation of the forklift as well as it's inspection at the required intervals.
• Responsible for inventory reconciliation, customer order filling and assisting company drivers and/or outside carriers as necessary.
• RF Scanning
• The forklift could be either as stand-up or sit-down.
• Use of a pallet jack to move product and load to load and unload trucks
• The Team Member will also assist the team with warehouse clean-up.
• Order picking/building--requires accurate counting of product to accurately build the order
• They must ensure inbound shipments are free of damage.
• Efficiently and accurately move product from the warehouse locations to the shipping dock.
• Manual labor will be necessary in building the pallets to put orders together.
• Safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills Required

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Reach truck experience is preferred but not required
• Candidate must have experience loading and unloading semi and flat bed trucks
• Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
• Manual dexterity, standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting.
• Ability to meet deadlines while adhering to safety regulations.
• Must complete Company-approved forklift training. An operating license for the Company facility is required within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver's license
