Position Summary
The Team Member utilizes a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. The Team Member utilizes the forklift to load and unload trucks. Accountable for the safe operation of the forklift as well as it's inspection at the required intervals. Responsible for inventory reconciliation, customer order filling and assisting company drivers and/or outside carriers as necessary. RF Scanning The forklift could be either as stand-up or sit-down. Use of a pallet jack to move product and load to load and unload trucks The Team Member will also assist the team with warehouse clean-up. Order picking/building--requires accurate counting of product to accurately build the order They must ensure inbound shipments are free of damage. Efficiently and accurately move product from the warehouse locations to the shipping dock. Manual labor will be necessary in building the pallets to put orders together. Safe operation of all material handling equipment. Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills Required
High School diploma or equivalent required. Reach truck experience is preferred but not required Candidate must have experience loading and unloading semi and flat bed trucks Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. Manual dexterity, standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting. Ability to meet deadlines while adhering to safety regulations. Must complete Company-approved forklift training. An operating license for the Company facility is required within 90 days of employment.
