Overview
National Account Manager, eCommerce Pure-Play / Amazon opportunity at Ferrero, Parsippany. You will drive accelerated growth for Ferrero’s Amazon business, focusing on new categories and emerging brands, reporting to the Director of Amazon Sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop holistic Amazon strategy for assigned brands/category, including full year sales, ongoing business operations management and marketing execution with cross-functional support.
- Achieve or exceed sales and trade targets for the customer within budget; identify new and profitable opportunities to improve the Amazon P&L across Commercial and Supply Chain opportunities.
- Coordinate with Customer Services (Supply Chain) to ensure proper PO processing and collaborate with the broader supply chain to optimize the distribution network for long-term growth on Amazon.
- Develop Amazon portfolio strategy, plans and budget to achieve goals; collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing to evolve the Amazon range, distribution targets, SRPs, and successful product launches.
- Develop and execute promotional plans within budget; secure funding for Amazon media programs and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive traffic and conversions on Amazon.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce Content team to manage product updates, seasonal launches, content, images, data uploads and merchandising.
- Develop KPIs to benchmark the Amazon business; perform ongoing analysis and deliver regular reporting to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Use digital shelf insights to track execution performance and drive ongoing optimization.
Account Management
- Support customer business reviews, Joint Business Plan updates, replenishment/supply chain reviews, and line reviews to achieve business results.
- Develop strategic, consultative relationships with key Amazon decision makers and agency partners.
- Articulate operational insights to influence Ferrero-wide decisions to drive internal change.
- Communicate competitive issues and opportunities to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain industry, category, customer and consumer expertise; support annual customer plans and progress updates with leadership.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field; Master’s preferred
- 3-5+ years of eCommerce sales experience; CPP experience is a plus; experience on Amazon is required
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce operations (sales, inventory, shipping, returns, customer service)
- Analytical mindset with a test-and-learn approach
- Proven cross-functional collaboration (marketing, IT, supply chain, finance, etc.)
- Project management experience with ability to lead multi-functional teams and deliver initiatives on time
- Detail-oriented, action-biased, able to work with ambiguity
- Strategic and hands-on when needed; able to work independently or in a team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined by experience and qualifications. This range reflects the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
