We have a rapidly growing customer base and an exciting charter that includes solving highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems. We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on this new service and shape the technology and product as we grow. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable, resilient systems with a constant customer focus.
Responsibilities
- As a developer on our team, own code end-to-end from design to development and collaborate with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
- Contribute across the stack with modern web, mobile technologies, SOA, NoSQL databases, microservices, and related areas.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Tech depth and breadth in Android or iOS development.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
