The Senior Human Resources Partner serves as a strategic ally to corporate leaders, directly aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives. This critical role offers expertise in workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Additionally, the Senior HR Partner will oversee a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across the organization, guaranteeing that hiring strategies are in sync with workforce needs. By acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior HR Partner influences leadership decisions that foster high performance and enhance the employee experience.
Strategic Partnership & Workforce Planning
Collaborate with corporate leaders to grasp business objectives and tailor HR strategies accordingly.
Guide leaders on organizational design, workforce optimization, and succession planning.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on talent management, team effectiveness, and leadership development.
Utilize workforce analytics (turnover, retention, and headcount trends) to inform data-driven recommendations.
Serve as a change agent, promoting and supporting organizational change initiatives.
Talent Management & Employee Development
Lead corporate-level talent management initiatives, including performance reviews, high-potential identification, and leadership development.
Collaborate with Learning & Development to design and execute professional development programs for corporate teams.
Assist leaders in crafting clear career pathways and retention strategies for vital roles.
Talent Acquisition Oversight
Manage and mentor the Talent Acquisition Specialist, offering guidance on recruiting priorities and strategies.
Ensure proactive, full-cycle recruitment for corporate and field roles, balancing efficiency with the quality of hires.
Partner with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs and create strategic workforce plans.
Enhance employer branding and candidate experience to establish the company as an employer of choice.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Provide leader support on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and consistency.
Investigate and resolve sensitive employee relations issues, upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.
Collaborate with legal and HR leadership on risk mitigation strategies when necessary.
HR Operations & Collaboration
Work closely with Payroll, Benefits, and Learning & Development teams to deliver seamless HR services.
Offer feedback to HR leadership regarding process enhancements and policy updates to better support the organization.
Mentor junior HR team members, demonstrating strategic HR partnership and best practices.
Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and legal updates that impact the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred; a Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) is preferred. Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HRBP or senior advisory role; prior experience managing recruiting or talent acquisition functions is preferred. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices. Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders effectively. Expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management strategies. Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities. Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities. Proficient in navigating ambiguity and effecting change in a fast-paced setting.
