Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their food manufacturing team. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production team. What's the Job?
Lead, coach, and schedule QA technicians across your assigned shift.
Train QA team members on food safety, quality procedures, and continuous improvement.
Monitor daily QA activities, including pre-op inspections, production checks, sanitation transitions, and environmental monitoring.
Serve as the on-site liaison for USDA inspectors.
Collaborate with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field-or 6+ years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment.
HACCP certification required; SQF, GFSI, or USDA experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable in a production setting.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and standard lab/testing equipment.
