What Youll Do

Lead the hands-on clinical phlebotomy skills labs, including live demonstrations of venipuncture, capillary puncture, specimen handling, and related procedures. Provide constructive, skills-based feedback to students, demonstrate techniques, and ensure students can perform each step safely and correctly. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and administer laboratory skills assessments. Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day class operations. Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations and follow the approved curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on clinical phlebotomy skills labs with live demonstrations.
  • Provide constructive, skills-based feedback during practice sessions.
  • Clearly demonstrate and teach phlebotomy procedures; ensure student understanding and safe execution.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Administer laboratory skills assessments and track student performance.
  • Maintain accurate records (attendance, progress, skills performance).
  • Support day-to-day class operations and readiness at session start.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations; maintain a professional learning environment.
  • Follow curriculum approved by Branwell Education and governing bodies.

When Will You Work

Phlebotomy classes are offered weekdays and weekends in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Availability will be discussed during interview and onboarding.

The Experience You’ll Bring

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 3 years of experience in Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, EMT, RN, or a similar clinical field.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
