This is an onsite position located in Green Bay, WI. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Compensation: $16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Operations Support Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and employees. This individual will primarily be responsible for greeting and signing in visitors, creating security badges, managing breakroom supplies, purchasing materials, and running reports across various systems.
- Provide administrative support including greeting visitors, handling reception duties, and coordinating with teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Organize, maintain and purge departmental files; prepare correspondence, reports, forms, contracts, and specialized documents.
- Enter and retrieve data, prepare reports, review for accuracy, and operate standard office equipment.
- Arrange meetings, notify attendees, reserve rooms, and coordinate lodging or meals as needed.
- Maintain databases, forms, documents, and related information; assist with data entry and reporting.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department’s service to customers by participating as an active team member and offering suggestions.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED; AND two (2) years of administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of department procedures, administrative practices, business letter writing, English usage, arithmetic, basic budgeting, computer applications, teamwork, and effective communication with staff, coworkers, and customers.
- Required Skills: Provide varied administrative support, interpret and apply policies, use tact and judgment, analyze and resolve administrative situations, research and summarize information, compose correspondence, establish working relationships, organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to team goals.
Working Environment
Work is performed in a lab and office setting. May involve exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and related items in a lab setting.
