Lead Automation/Manual Tester
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Lead Automation/Manual Tester to support our customer, USPS and their Logistics Tech Services Group. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform test execution and provide ad hoc testing support throughout all SDLC phases.
- Verify test conditions using backend systems, including running SQL queries.
- Provide direction to the development and testing team members as Scrum Master.
- Ensure quality, meeting the specified expectations, reducing the risk of errors, and improving customer satisfaction.
Skilled in the following:
- Creating documentation and communicating clear concise test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Running manual tests and incorporating automated testing processes.
- Building and utilizing Test Automation scripts and framework.
- Creating detailed defect reports.
- Utilization of DevOps and Agile methods.
- Experience using Version One or other work management tools.
- Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system application and operating systems.
- Knowledge of Web services and verification tools.
- Comprehension of Database and writing SQL queries.
- Research/troubleshoot ad hoc questions and support issues.
- Excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following qualifications:
- DevSecOps
- SCRUM Master
- VersionOne
- Postman, SoapUI, AML, UFT
- Secure Coding practices
- Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
- PLSQL
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience and a Bachelors degree (or commensurate experience)
- Clearance Required: Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology or software development preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in manual and automated testing
