Lead Automation/Manual Tester

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Lead Automation/Manual Tester to support our customer, USPS and their Logistics Tech Services Group. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform test execution and provide ad hoc testing support throughout all SDLC phases.
• Verify test conditions using backend systems, including running SQL queries.
• Provide direction to the development and testing team members as Scrum Master.
• Ensure quality, meeting the specified expectations, reducing the risk of errors, and improving customer satisfaction.

Skilled in the following:

• Creating documentation and communicating clear concise test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Running manual tests and incorporating automated testing processes.
• Building and utilizing Test Automation scripts and framework.
• Creating detailed defect reports.
• Utilization of DevOps and Agile methods.
• Experience using Version One or other work management tools.
• Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system application and operating systems.
• Knowledge of Web services and verification tools.
• Comprehension of Database and writing SQL queries.
• Research/troubleshoot ad hoc questions and support issues.
• Excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Working knowledge of one or more of the following qualifications:

• DevSecOps
• SCRUM Master
• VersionOne
• Postman, SoapUI, AML, UFT
• Secure Coding practices
• Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
• PLSQL

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience and a Bachelors degree (or commensurate experience)
• Clearance Required: Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology or software development preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manual and automated testing

Posted Pay Range: USD $94,150.00 - $146,000.00/Yr.
