Lead Automation/Manual Tester

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Lead Automation/Manual Tester to support our customer, USPS and their Logistics Tech Services Group. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing test execution and providing ad hoc testing support throughout all SDLC phases
  • Creating and executing test scenarios
  • Working with the development team for defect resolution
  • Verifying test conditions using backend systems
  • Providing direction to the development and testing team as Scrum Master
  • Conducting Agile Ceremonies
  • Overseeing work and release management
  • Ensuring quality, reducing risks, and improving customer satisfaction

Skilled in:

  • Creating documentation and communicating clear test plans, scenarios, and cases
  • Running manual tests and incorporating automated testing processes
  • Building and utilizing Test Automation scripts and frameworks
  • Creating detailed defect reports
  • Utilizing DevOps and Agile methods
  • Using Version One or other work management tools
  • Understanding the complete life cycle of a system application and operating systems
  • Knowledge of Web services and verification tools
  • Comprehension of Database and writing SQL queries
  • Research/troubleshoot ad hoc questions and support issues
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills

Working knowledge of:

  • DevSecOps
  • SCRUM Master
  • VersionOne
  • Postman, SoapUI, AML, UFT
  • Secure Coding practices
  • SDLC practices
  • PLSQL

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience and a Bachelors degree
  • Clearance Required: Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology or software development preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in manual and automated testing

Posted Pay Range: USD $94,150.00 - USD $146,000.00/Yr.
