Senior MEP Cost Estimator
to join our Commercial & Institutional CES Team. This role can be based in our Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; or Albany, NY office. Your Impact: As a crucial member of the CHA cost estimating team, you will provide accurate and high-quality cost consulting services to owners, architects, and construction managers at every project stage. Your expertise in architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical estimating will ensure your work accurately reflects the complexities of construction operations. In this role, you will be responsible for: Creating and executing comprehensive, accurate cost estimates. Conducting quality assurance and quality control functions to ensure detailed and thorough project scope. Collaborating with team members on multiple projects to deliver cost-effective estimates that meet client requirements. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior cost estimating team members. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including travel for site visits as needed. Involvement in business development activities to identify and pursue new opportunities. Requirements: B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Quantity Surveying Degree preferred. At least 10 years of Cost Estimating experience, with a focus on electrical discipline. 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with On Center On-Screen Takeoff Software. Familiarity with AutoDesk software is a plus. In-depth understanding of construction industry regulations, building codes, and procurement processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. High accuracy in cost estimating as demonstrated by bid returns. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Salary Range:
