Overview

We are seeking a reliable independent contractor delivery driver to transport goods or passengers to designated locations. This role involves operating your own vehicle, following delivery schedules, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Transport Goods or Passengers: Pick up and deliver packages, products, or individuals safely and on time.
• Route Planning: Follow pre-set routes or use navigation apps to determine the most efficient delivery paths.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain your vehicle to ensure it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload goods or baggage, sometimes lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Communication: Maintain regular contact with dispatch teams or clients for updates and delivery confirmations.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Record-Keeping: Log deliveries, track mileage, and complete necessary paperwork or electronic reports.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, address concerns, and obtain signatures when required.
• Expense Management: Handle fuel, maintenance, and other operational costs independently.

Requirements and Skills

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license; a commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required for larger vehicles.
