A rapidly growing, technology-focused manufacturing company is seeking an Electro Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of devices that integrate electrical and mechanical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in engineering or physics, particularly those familiar with vacuum electron device (VED) manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build equipment and machinery that integrate electrical and mechanical technologies
Apply principles of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
Interpret schematics and perform hands-on troubleshooting
Conduct experiments to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes
Develop and improve production workflows, layouts, and testing procedures
Ensure product and process quality through rigorous testing protocols
Prepare technical reports summarizing trends, findings, and recommendations
Provide engineering support and respond to technical inquiries
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair to maximize uptime
Maintain documentation and databases using proprietary software tools
Mentor technicians and support project execution
Stay informed on industry developments through training and workshops
Preferred Skills
Strong foundation in mechanical design and engineering principles
Experience with vacuum systems or vacuum electronics
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus, but not required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information
Travel Requirements: Up to 20% annually; typically less than 10%

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
