Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time, repetitive motion tasks, and exposure to bloodborne/airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, radiation, cuts/punctures.

Shift

Monday - Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed

Job Summary

The Dental Assistant I will support dentists by performing four-handed, chairside, and expanded duty dental assisting. Responsibilities also include preparing dental instruments and materials, cleaning operatories, assisting with patient flow in the clinic, and performing other related duties as needed.

Attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and customer service skills, dependability, and initiative.

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience as a dental assistant is preferred. Ability to speak and read English and Spanish preferred.
