We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer with strong experience in injection molding to join our team. This role is responsible for leading technical projects from concept through to mass production, ensuring on-time delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Lead and manage new product introduction (NPI) projects within the injection molding process. Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, tooling, production, quality, supply chain) to achieve project milestones Report project status on regular basis to customers as well as internal steering committee. Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively address risks or delays. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables. Provide technical input on mold design, tooling specifications, and manufacturing feasibility. Oversee tooling trials, mold validations, and process optimization Support cost estimation, budgeting, and resource planning for projects. Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, IATF) and customer requirements. Liaise daily with customers to refine projects and propose mutually beneficial improvements. Coordinate tool repairs and changes, from quoting to toolmaker assignment and production alignment.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Technology, or related field. Minimum [3–5] years of experience in project engineering within the injection molding industry. Strong understanding of mold design, tooling, polymer materials and processing parameters. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools. Mold flow competency and warp analysis, prototyping and collaboration with the vendors’ and customers’ tool design engineers. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
