Join to apply for the Seasonal Stylist (Chicago) role at Catbird NYC. Catbird, a NYC-based jewelry brand, is looking to hire in-store Stylists to join our retail team this holiday season.

The Store Stylist is integral to our store as they are the ones who work directly with our customers, creating a warm, welcoming customer experience and providing our customers with the highest level of product education and styling recommendations. This is a seasonal position with part-time availability and flexibility to work weekends. The role ends in January 2026.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of customer service to create a welcoming and helpful buying experience for our customers
• Awareness of full product assortment and ability to educate customers about product knowledge and styling
• Style customers based on their preferences and needs
• Offer personalized suggestions that compliment customer requests
• Assist managers with restock, receiving, cleaning, and maintaining inventory and visual standards throughout the store
• Create a positive last impression while ringing customers out on the Point of Sale system with accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct in-person and virtual wedding engagement & styling appointments

Our Ideal Candidate

• Retail experience required; jewelry experience is a plus
• Understands that customer service is the most important aspect of the role
• Nice, friendly, and easy to get along with
• Loves working collaboratively with a store team and enjoys connecting with people
• Enjoys styling and making product recommendations

Compensation

$20/hr
