DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating fork truck to lift, move, position, reposition steel and heavy material to stock areas. Load and unload trailers and railroad cars. Able to drive and operate the fork truck in a variety of conditions and spaces. Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure into inventory computer system and/or by paperwork. Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure Assemble customer orders according to work orders Record pertinent material information to work orders, material, or other forms as specified by management Works and coordinates with multiple areas of warehouse, and coworkers to complete tasks. Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures. Safety sensitive for his/her own safety and/or of others safety. Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks Enthusiastic team player with a motivating positive attitude Committed to a workplace of culture and respect. Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality May need to work overtime and weekends as assigned (depending on business need). Performance of other Warehouse or other tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work. Special projects as specified by management. Preferred candidates will have heavy capacity fork truck experience, must have experience on a 330 Forklift, material handling experience, and experience working with steel. Infra- Metals Co.
