Job Responsibilities Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy programs to help them meet their personal functional targets Implement Therapeutic Procedures: Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily living capabilities of patients Collaborate with Interprofessional Teams: Work in unison with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones in therapy strategies that encourage consistent progress at home Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as necessary to ensure patients stay on their path to recovery Qualifications

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution Opportunities for continuing education and advanced certifications available and encouraged Licensure

Current and active

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

license required NBCOT
