Job Description

We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator. Mini Excavators and Backhoes are used in general construction.

Duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials, and working with co-workers to ensure that projects are completed accurately and safely.

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to monitor workflow, suggesting changes to enhance productivity as needed.
2. Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
3. Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment.
4. Observe safety codes at all times.
5. Perform daily safety checklist of all equipment used.
6. Good communication with supervisor and co-workers at all times.
7. Aiding co-workers to ensure the site is clean and organized.
8. Advising supervisor on upgrades, repairs, and replacements on equipment as needed.
