Wheelchair Agents
at Norfolk International Airport. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting passengers with reduced mobility while supporting a safe, efficient, and welcoming airport environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Escort passengers in wheelchairs throughout the airport, including terminals, checkpoints, and gate areas Provide courteous, respectful assistance to passengers, ensuring comfort and ease throughout their travel experience Maintain timely communication with dispatchers, gate agents, and airline personnel Comply with all TSA, airport, and company safety and security policies Accurately record passenger interactions and document any incidents as required Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing Huntleigh USA Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and remain on your feet for the entirety of the shift Ability to bend, squat, push, and stand for prolonged periods Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English Reliable transportation and dependable contact information Ability to successfully complete required drug and alcohol screenings (DOT/Non-DOT) High school diploma or GED (required in select locations) Training and Uniform Standards Paid training provided by Huntleigh USA and partnering airlines Professional appearance required: company-issued uniform, neat grooming, no visible tattoos above the neck or below the wrist, and no facial piercings Why Join Huntleigh USA Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the travel experience of passengers requiring assistance Supportive, mission-driven team environment Competitive compensation and flexible scheduling Career growth opportunities within the aviation services industry
