Full-Time Mid-Shift Wheelchair Agents
at Norfolk International Airport. In this role, you will assist passengers with reduced mobility and contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming travel experience. Primary Responsibilities Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs throughout airport terminals and gate areas Deliver courteous, professional assistance to travelers, ensuring comfort and confidence Coordinate services by maintaining effective communication with dispatchers and gate agents Adhere to TSA, airport, and company safety/security protocols Accurately document passenger interactions and report unusual incidents as required Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with passengers, airline personnel, and the public Minimum Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift Comfortable with bending, squatting, pushing, and standing for extended periods Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) Reliable transportation and dependable contact information Ability to pass all required drug and alcohol screenings (DOT/Non-DOT) High school diploma or GED (required in some locations) Training & Uniform Standards Paid training provided by Huntleigh USA and partnering airlines Professional appearance required: company-issued uniform, neat grooming, no visible tattoos above the neck or below the wrist, and no facial piercings Why Join Huntleigh USA Contribute meaningfully to the travel experience of passengers requiring mobility assistance Become part of a supportive, mission-driven team Competitive pay with opportunities for career advancement within the aviation services industry Flexible schedules and paid training
