Administrative Coordinator - Accelerate Complete Engage Program (ACE)
Brooklyn College is seeking applications for the Administrative Coordinator position for the Accelerate, Engage, Complete Program (ACE). Reporting to the ACE Director, the Administrative Coordinator is a member of an integrated college team and has the responsibility of performing comprehensive administrative duties to ensure a productive ACE college office. This position is a critical layer of support for the program's expansion activities, including program operations, recruitment, and communication.
ASAP and ACE programs help students earn their college degree as quickly as possible, by removing the financial, academic, and personal obstacles that many students confront. Key ASAP/ACE program features include a consolidated block schedule, cohorts by major, required full-time study and comprehensive advisement and career development services. Financial incentives include tuition waivers for financial aid eligible students, yearly textbook vouchers, and monthly Metro Cards for all students. Further information is available at www.cuny.edu/ASAP. The ACE Administrative Coordinator provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College’s ACE program.
Duties
- Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the ACE Director and program staff, ensuring the efficient coordination of daily activities, communication, and program initiatives.
- Maintains accurate records of prospective student contacts and recruitment activities using spreadsheets, EAB Navigate, or other CRM systems.
- Assists in organizing orientation sessions for newly admitted students.
- Prepares welcome materials and coordinate communication leading up to the start of the semester.
- Assist ACE Director and ACE Advising team with student academic planning and enrollment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Some evening and weekend hours may be required
- Bachelor\'s Degree required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience inadministration of ahigher education,public service, social service, counseling or mentoring program; work with educators and students.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility to work productively in a fast paced, time-sensitive, high volume and dynamic student-focused and customer responsive environment.
- Detail orientation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Computer proficiency using standard office software programs/applications, including ACCESS database, tableau, Navigate, CUNYfirst, Schedule Builder, and Teams.
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.

- Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department.
- May supervise office staff and student workers.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
