Immediate opening for a Principal Hardware Engineer in Salem, NH who possesses:

• 12+ years (or expert level) experience working with Siemens (e)Xpedition, DxDesigner
• FPGA experience required
• Experience working at a mil-aero company or aerospace experience
• Experience working as a consultant and/or has access to lab equipment such as oscilloscope, bench power supplies and a soldering station.

Responsibilities

• Apply independence and creativity to drive project design scope and deliverables
• Develop Functional Design Specifications
• Circuit design: Digital, Analog, and Power
• PCIe, DDR, Microprocessor, DSP, etc.
• I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR3+, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, etc.
• Analog/RF experience is a plus.
• BLE and/or WiFi experience a plus.
• Schematic Capture and Layout Review/Guidance/Management. Layout experience.
• Pre&Post Signal and Power Integrity analysis (optional)
• FPGA and CPLD design (Verilog, VHDL)
• FPGA test benches and verification (ModelSim, Xilinx, Altera, etc.)
• Develop test plans/methods to ensure product reliability and performance targets are met
• Prototype bring up and system integration
• Working knowledge of EMC/CE/UL compliance requirements
• Software and Firmware development

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Expert user of one or more of the following tools: Siemens DxDesigner, Altium, OrCad, and DxDesigner
