GTA Containers , a leading defense contractor, is seeking a highly motivated
Maintenance Technician
to join our manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance - Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshooting and Repair - Diagnosing problems with equipment and machinery; making necessary repairs. Recordkeeping - Maintaining records of maintenance activities and work orders. Communication - Effectively communicating with supervisors and team leads regarding work status and issues. Technical Knowledge - Understanding mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Must know 480V and 220V three phase Must know 110V electrical Safety Awareness - Understanding and adhering to safety regulations. Physical stamina - Be able to perform physically demanding tasks. Must be proficient with hand and power tools. Assist in the installation and startup of new machinery and production lines. Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus. Must have great customer service skills. Must have great problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals. 2-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience is a plus. Work Environments:
Working Flexible Hours as needed. Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation & Benefits:
