We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Capron, IL. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded professional with strong expertise in electrical systems, machine maintenance, and plumbing. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our facility and equipment.
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all facility machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, including 120V, 220V 3-phase, and 480V 3-phase circuits.
Conduct mechanical repairs on production equipment, including CNC machines, welders, and other manufacturing tools.
Handle plumbing issues, including repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance on pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including experience with 120V, 220V 3-phase, and 480V 3-phase power.
Solid background in machine maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with industrial plumbing systems and related repairs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform strenuous tasks as required.
